Research studies & publications
ATCB has been investing in building tourist knowledge for years on end. The aim is to make the vast (tourist) research data accessible to all that are interested.
Amsterdam as a Conference Destination Key Figures
During the Meetings & Conventions Seminar on June 28 2011
ATCB presented the new edition of the survey 'Amsterdam as a
Conference Destination Key Figures' to its partners. Besides the
ten Unique Selling Points of Amsterdam that are supported by this
data, also statistic information about the meetings sector in
Amsterdam have been extensively studied.
Did you know that association conferences are three times in
traffic over corporate conferences? Or that Amsterdam had a total
of 3.400.000 overnight business stays in 2010? All meeting
locations are also mapped in the 'Meeting Hotspots'.
See the e-book 'Amsterdam as a Conference
Destination Key Figures'.
Monitor Tourist Businesses 2009
The Monitor Tourist Businesses (MTB) is an online survey,
conducted by ATCB. Twice a year, significant players in the tourist
industry are asked to give their opinion on the past and future
season. This report does not replace the official numbers of the
CBS, which have a much broader foundation, but it constitutes a
useful indicator. The Monitor Tourist Businesses is only available
in Dutch.
Amsterdam Visitors Profile
For the period of one year, Amsterdam extensively interviewed
its visitors. The questionnaires of over 6000 visitors from all
over the World constitute a vault of priceless information. After
ATCB's analysis of the numbers, the Amsterdam Visitor
Profile is now available in both Dutch and English.
