Theme yearsDutch DNA logo orange

The use of theme years contributes to sustainable innovation and further increases the number of visits to the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. The tourist industry can respond to the theme year by creating package deals, or by offering their attractions or cultural facilities.

The 2010 theme year is Dutch DNA.

Amsterdam Festivals

Amsterdam has no fewer than 75 annual cultural events, each with their own attractive and diverse range: from young talent to world-famous, from classical to innovative, from very small to very large events.
CAMPAGNEBEELD_amsterdam festivals (2)"Amsterdam Festivals" is the name of the ATCB campaign that promotes the festivals held in the capital city. As most important contribution to the campaign, ATCB developed a website in Dutch, English and German. It supports all levels of the campaign. Visit www.amsterdamfestivals.com

In 2010, ATCB will collaborate with the city districts outside centre and launch the massive promotional campaign "Explore a different Amsterdam". This campaign will introduce visitors and tourists to all the cultural and historical richness that these districts have to offer.
