Together with other organizations such as the City of Amsterdam, Amsterdam Partners, Amsterdam Cruise Port and the Amsterdam Uitburo the ATCB constitutes the heart of the city marketing for the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area.
Amsterdam Partners
Amsterdam Partners is coordinator
and keeper of the Amsterdam brand: I amsterdam. ATCB supports these
activities through marketing and specifically makes use of the
dimensions culture city, city of canals and meeting city. The new
lifestyle campaigns provide opportunities for a broader positioning
of the brand. In order to market to the business, tourist and
cruise markets, specific brand positioning and presentations are
employed.
The
Amsterdam Uitburo
The Amsterdam Uitburo is the collective marketing
organization of the Amsterdam cultural sector. The Amsterdam
Uitburo is the direct partner of cultural institutions in creating
awareness with the public and coincidently functions as a guide to

Amsterdam Cruise Port
Since 1996, the Amsterdam Cruise Port Foundation
(ACP) has been busy promoting the cruise market and improving the
cruise product in the Amsterdam Noordzee Canal Area. ACP is an
important fortifying part of the chain in the marketing aimed at
(potential) clients and the increased quality of the joint product.
Forty corporations and organizations are affiliated with the

Partnerships
ATCB seeks to cooperate with appropriate, strong partners as
much as possible. For instance with CoolCapitals in its marketing
of the US market. Within Europe the networks for collaboration
consist of European Cities Marketing (ECM) and European Travel
Commission (ETC). As an active member of ECT, ATCB has complete
access to these networks.
In the Netherlands the main interlocutors consist of various
organizations that are industry related, such as Koninklijke Horeca
Nederland (KHN), Amsterdams Overleg Musea (AOM), Amsterdams Uitburo
(AUB) and Amsterdam Festival Overleg (AFO).
Tourist Office cooperation
The Netherlands Tourist
Office (VVV Nederland) aims at maintaining a network of
professional regional offices that function as a
local host. ATCB performs this function for the Amsterdam
Metropolitan Area. The interpretation of the physical local tourist
office service depends on the local situation. ATCB brings various
tourist office products to het
market that are meant for the local visitor.
